Rear-end collisions can be very serious since the vehicle that is struck from behind is usually stopped or moving very slowly while the other vehicle is in motion. This course describes the common causes of rear-end collisions and what drivers of light commercial vehicles can do to reduce their risk of being involved in such a collision. Topics in this course include: Lack of Concentration, Following Distance, Running Late or Being in a Hurry, Intersections and Caution Lights, Construction Zones, and Fatigue. After completing this course, learners will be able to recognize how to reduce the risk of another vehicle colliding from the rear.
